See your site the way crawlers do.
22 checks, 20 seconds.
Your browser renders JavaScript, follows redirects and carries your cookies. Googlebot and the AI crawlers do none of that. This runs the checks that decide whether they can read you at all, and scores the result out of 100.
Growthr’s own scanner. Free, no signup, nothing stored, three scans per minute. Missing an llms.txt? Generate one free.
What the 22 checks cover
Three groups. A site can pass one group and fail the others, which is why a good Lighthouse score tells you almost nothing about whether ChatGPT can quote you.
Can they reach you
Fetched from a datacenter IP, the way a crawler arrives, not from your laptop.
- Bot walls that return 403 to GPTBot or ClaudeBot
- robots.txt rules for each AI user-agent
- Redirect chains and mixed status codes
- Responses that differ on a cache miss
Can they read you
Most crawlers never run your JavaScript. Whatever is not in the raw HTML is invisible.
- Body copy present before JS runs
- Headings and title structure
- llms.txt and its format
- Structured data and entity markup
Will they rank you
The classic on-page checks still decide the half of search that is ten blue links.
- Titles and meta descriptions
- Canonicals and indexability
- Sitemap coverage and freshness signals
- Internal linking depth
We built this after failing it
In August we ran our own checklist against growthr.com and scored 5 out of 100. A CDN setting was returning 403 to every AI crawler while our robots.txt invited them in, and nobody remembered switching it on. We fixed it in a day, then scanned 640 other sites: 100 of them refused an AI crawler, and 4 had written it down. This page runs that same checklist on your site.
